Nowadays, it is impossible to talk about project management certifications without mentioning those that for years have been the most recognised: the certifications promoted by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Usefulness of the PMP and PMI-ACP certifications

These certifications, nowadays, represent a distinction for those who hold them for several reasons:

  • They are very complete certifications, PMP more generally covering predictive projects with a lighter complement of agile and hybrid) and PMI-ACP in the framework of agile projects, each in its field.
  • They are a proof of theoretical knowledge of predictive and agile management approaches.
  • They are recognised as having a high degree of difficulty, which makes them more prestigious.
  • They imply that the person who has obtained them has the necessary experience to qualify for them.
  • They provide a high level of knowledge of management frameworks, tools, techniques, etc...
  • Provide a common language for its connoisseurs or holders.

Obviously, having these certifications can improve the professional opportunities of their holders, as the discipline of project management has been and will continue to be of vital importance in the coming years.
