The collaboration with AIESEC will allow ZIGURAT students to live international experiences in business internships and volunteering.
ZIGURAT Institute of Technology has signed a collaboration agreement with AIESEC, the largest youth-led global organisation in the world. It is an association in more than 110 countries with more than 7,000 allies.
AIESEC's objectives coincide with ZIGURAT's mission to inspire and educate future leaders to create a positive impact on society and the planet. As such, it offers more than 30,000 internship and volunteer opportunities each year internationally.
This partnership will allow ZIGURAT Alumni to "develop inclusive and multicultural leadership, discover new contexts and ways of working and learn soft skills beyond the comfort zone", says Paola Frongia, ZIGURAT Alumni Manager.
ZIGURAT students under the age of 30 will be able to benefit from all the advantages of this agreement, which includes experiences linked to teaching, volunteering and internships.
AIESEC has more than 1,300 partner companies in which to do internships. These allow the Alumni to add international experiences to their CV, learn new skills and achieve a more attractive profile for the labour market.
On the other hand, the association also offers experiences related to volunteering and teaching to positively impact society and promote the global development of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For these activities, AIESEC has a network of more than 10,000 NGOs and 300 partner schools in 60 countries.
