Set to take place next week, from 16th to 18th of June, Bentley’s Infraweek in Brazil will dive deep into the Digital Twins and the evolution of BIM for infrastructure.Taking place online, this virtual meeting will gather digital transformation experts in the field of infrastructures, among whom there will also be members of the Zigurat team/faculty. Infraweek Brasil will bring powerful insights on how to improve the team's productivity and optimize infrastructure projects.The three-day program covers various aspects of the new way of working in the construction industry and dedicates each day to a specific aspect of the digitalization. The first day, June 16, will start with a more generic Digital Transformation in Infrastructure topic, placing the contents in the context of the impact of Decreto BIM 10.306/2020. Professor of our Master Internacional em BIM Management and Strategic BIM Consultant at FLN BIM Consultoria e Treinamento Rafael Fernandes will be in charge of speaking about the decree and national infrastructures. The evolution of BIM in relation to Digital Twins and how to maximize the benefits of BIM through Digital Twins with OpenSuites will also be discussed. Mobility and transport will come into focus from the point of view of horizontal infrastructure workflows. At the end of the day, there will be a half-an-hour Q&A session. The second day, June 17, is dedicated to the Interoperability Between Disciplines. Digital Twins in the multidisciplinary integration of a project and integration of digital components will be the primary discussion points, followed by vertical infrastructure workflows and digital transformation in the universities. To end the sessions for the day, at 16:00 (GMT-3), Wagner Carvalho, the professor of Master Internacional em BIM Management para Infraestruturas, Engenharia Civil e GIS, will present the Infra Inteligente program and the digital transformation success case from his company Aegea Saneamento. On the third day, June 18, under the theme of Digital Management and Collaboration, another batch of technical consultants and industry leaders with experience using Bentley technology will deliver their presentations on Digital Twins for 4D construction, Common Data Environment (CDE) for infrastructure projects, and OpenSuites of Bentley for Digital Twins in building and infrastructure. Rogério Suzuki, the professor in both of Zigurat’s BIM programs and BIM & 4D consultant will talk about Bentley’s SYNCHRO portfolio for 4D Construction Digital Twins.
