ZIGURAT Institute of Technology hosted the Smart Cities Council's Strategic Global Planning Day on November 4th at the center's facilities. This event, a precursor to the Smart City Expo World Congress, brought together thought leaders to discuss strategies and innovations shaping the future of smart cities.
As a Global Education Partner, ZIGURAT was invited to be part of the Smart Cities Council stand during the Smart City Expo World Congress 2024, held from November 5th to 7th in Barcelona. This congress represented a valuable opportunity to collaborate with leading organizations in the sector to debate innovative solutions and significant contributions to the future of smart cities.
During the event, ZIGURAT had the opportunity to reconnect with the Smart Cities Council team and its president, Corey Gray. This entity, an institutional partner of ZIGURAT, is a benchmark in advancing the smart cities movement. Additionally, Chris Dymond, Director of the Master’s in Global Smart City Management, was present.
The event was an opportunity to connect with professionals and industry leaders. In this regard, Taisa Figueroa, Institutional Engagement Manager at ZIGURAT, states that “these interactions strengthen collaborative networks and foster the exchange of innovative ideas for the development of smarter and more sustainable cities.”
