Carolina Ramírez is an architect graduated from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, with extensive experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) since 2008. She works as a consultant and lecturer at CRa-HUB, where she develops, coordinates, and audits BIM projects. Additionally, she collaborates with various universities, including the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Recognized as an Autodesk Expert Elite and Presto Super User, she stays constantly updated on the latest BIM technology trends.
At CRa-HUB, Carolina offers a wide range of BIM consulting and advisory services in architecture and engineering, supporting professionals, real estate developers, managers, and owners. Her expertise includes creating budgets from BIM models or IFC files processed with Presto software, enabling the simulation and planning of projects, as well as certification and adjustments during execution.
In addition to her professional activities, Carolina is a lecturer in the BIM Management Master’s and the International BIM Management Master’s in Civil Engineering and GIS, taught at the Zigurat Global Institute of Technology. In this role, she shares her knowledge and experience with students and professionals, equipping them with advanced skills in parametric modeling and visual programming applied to BIM.
Her contributions to the dissemination of BIM are widely recognized, as she actively participates in events and seminars like the Ciclo BIM COAM, where she shares insights into the benefits of BIM technologies in architectural and construction projects.
