Javier Bernal is an architect by the UA (University of Alicante) since 2015.
In 2016 he moved to Barcelona and started to get into the world of BIM methodology. In 2017 he completed three postgraduate courses in BIM Management focused on the three main disciplines of the sector: Architecture, Installations and Structures by the Fundació CIM, attached to the UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya).
He has worked for several engineering companies, architectural firms and BIM consultancies over the years in both national and international projects. Among others, he has been BIM MEP coordinator at BAC Engineering Consultancy Group. Throughout all these years he has been specializing in the Dynamo environment and the automation of tasks in BIM processes with Revit. Currently he works as a BIM architect and Dynamo specialist for the architectural firm ON-A. He also teaches the Dynamo for Structures course at Editeca.
