Luna Cara is an Environmental Architect Cum Laude from the Politecnico di Milano, and Master Cum Laude in Sustainable and Environmental Project Management from the same institution.
In the academic field she has taught Bioclimatic Architecture, History of Architecture, Architecture Criticism, Architectural Design Workshop and Restoration Techniques of Historic Buildings.
In the field of research, she has been the director of two research groups on renewable energies and the relationship between architecture and its context, with particular attention to environmental issues. She is the author of the book "Architecture and context: a methodological proposal" and of several articles published in scientific journals.
