In his career, Mahmoud has led several mega-projects in BIM and digital delivery, including high-profile initiatives in Saudi Arabia such as Hotel 12, the Qiddiya water park, and the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). These projects showcase his ability to lead digital construction efforts on a global scale, with some already realized and others actively in progress.
Currently serving as the Head of Digital Construction at Urban Surveys in Dubai, Mahmoud leads cross-functional teams in implementing cutting-edge technologies. His leadership ensures the seamless integration of BIM practices across multiple disciplines, resulting in improved clash detection, streamlined workflows through QA/QC checklists, and optimized BIM Execution Plans. His approach to digital construction emphasizes collaboration and continuous improvement, significantly enhancing project outcomes and client satisfaction.
In addition to his industry contributions, Mahmoud is a Mentor and Lecturer at Zigurat Global Institute of Technology.
