Rogério Lima is an architect and urban planner, PhD student at the University of Lisbon, where he researches in the area of BIM-based generative systems. With a Master's degree in Architecture from FAU-UFRJ, he is a member of the Design and Computation Group of FAULisboa and has 22 years of experience as a university lecturer. Currently, he is a founding partner and consultant of AECOTECH. He is also a presenter of the BIMverso Podcast and an associate member of buildingSMART Portugal.
In his role as academic director of the International Master in BIM Management at ZIGURAT Institute of Technology, Rogério has contributed significantly to the training of professionals in BIM methodology, driving the digital transformation in the construction sector.
Through the BIMverse Podcast, Rogério facilitates discussions on BIM methodology and other innovations related to civil construction, contributing to the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the professional community.
His affiliation as an associate member of buildingSMART Portugal highlights his dedication to promoting open standards and interoperability in the construction industry, supporting digital transformation and efficient collaboration between the different actors in the sector.
