Rogério Lima

Rogério Lima is an architect and urban planner, currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Lisbon, where he is researching generative systems based on BIM. With a Master’s degree in Architecture from FAU-UFRJ, he is a member of the Design and Computation Group at FAULisboa and has 22 years of experience as a university professor. Currently, he is the CEO of DOMUS arquitetura e consultoria, a company with 17 years of experience operating in Brazil and Portugal, developing projects and providing BIM implementation consultancy for companies and institutions. In addition, he is the host of the BIMverso Podcast and an associate member of buildingSMART Portugal.

As the academic director of the International Master’s in BIM Management at ZIGURAT Institute of Technology, Rogério has significantly contributed to training professionals in the BIM methodology, driving digital transformation in the construction sector.

His participation in events like BIMCentro 2024, a seminar aimed at consolidating the importance of the BIM methodology as a strategy for development and innovation in the construction sector, reflects his commitment to spreading and adopting advanced technologies in the industry.

Through the BIMverso Podcast, produced by DOMUS arquitetura e consultoria, Rogério facilitates discussions on BIM methodology and other innovations related to civil construction, fostering knowledge exchange and experiences within the professional community.

His affiliation as an associate member of buildingSMART Portugal highlights his dedication to promoting open standards and interoperability in the construction industry, supporting digital transformation and efficient collaboration among different stakeholders in the sector.
