Expert in embedded systems and IoT device hardware development with more than 15 years of experience. Started his professional career focused in solar energy monitoring developing protocols for main inverter manufacturers integrations.
After this period was developing specific industrial communications and implementing IEEE protocols for the Energy transportation market allowing control, monitoring and management remotely using SCADA softwares also developing devices for Smart Cities solutions. Nowadays Xavi is CEO in DiproTech and Owner/CTO of thethings.iO helping companies to develop vertical solutions from the Proof Of Concept to the large device deployments using different connectivity technologies such as NBIoT, LoRaWan or Sigfox. At the moment, thethings.iO is participating in Smart Cities and IoT connectivity projects located in Europe, Middle East and Asia and is the platform used in the biggest Sigfox project in Oceania.
Xavier is focused on device and IoT project development for Industry, Real-Time telemetry and remote device management and monitoring for Smart Cities, medical devices and customer electronics, giving the ability to have different points of view of an IoT project depending on the business focus, the project target and the available technologies.
